Deal Market hello@dealmarket.ca

Surplus goes out. Your shelf price stays put.

Deal Market moves your overstock, discontinued lines, old packaging and returns to buyers outside the market your retailers serve, through channels you approve and on terms you set.

Full-price goods stay on the line to your retailers. Surplus comes off at four points, passes through Deal Market, and goes to buyers outside your full-price market. Tap or hover over a destination to see who buys there.

What we take

Overstock
More stock than your retail partners can sell at full price this season.
Discontinued lines
Products you no longer make, still sitting in a warehouse.
Packaging changes
Old-label and old-pack inventory left over after a redesign or a regulatory change.
Returns
Customer and retailer returns, sorted by condition before they go anywhere.

Where it goes

Every channel trades speed against recovery. You decide which ones we may use.

Off-price retail
Off-price chains buy brand-name goods in bulk and sell them below list, away from your regular retail partners.Best when you want strong recovery and can accept your brand on an off-price shelf.
Export
Goods ship to buyers outside Canada, in markets your retailers do not serve.Best when you want the product well away from home retail.
B2B & buying clubs
Businesses and buying groups buy by the case for their own use, not for your retailers’ shelves.Best for consumables and supplies a business uses up.
Auction
Registered buyers bid on lots, so the product never carries a public markdown price. Returns are often lower, but it is the fastest way to take product off the radar and out of the market.Best when speed matters more than price.
Donation
Registered charities take what cannot be sold, and you receive a donation receipt.Best when the goods cannot be sold, or the receipt is worth more than a low sale.

Your rules decide the route

Which path each unit takes depends entirely on the parameters you give us. Nothing moves outside them.

Channels
Which of the channels above we may use, and which are off limits.
Regions
Where the goods may and may not be sold, by province or by country.
Timing
How soon it has to be gone, and any dates it must stay out of market.
Branding
Whether labels stay on, come off, or the product is sold unbranded.
Reporting
What you need back: where each lot went, who bought it and for how much.

How it works

  1. Send us what you hold.A product list with quantities, location and condition, plus your rules.
  2. We propose routes.Which channels, which buyers, and what each route is likely to return.
  3. You approve.Nothing moves until you say so.
  4. We move it and report back. You get a record of where every lot went.

Tell us what you’re holding

Send a product list (a spreadsheet is fine) with quantities, where the goods sit, their condition, and any rules you already know. We reply with proposed routes.
